Ideas for Cute Workout Clothes
You might work up a sweat as you're working out, but that doesn't mean you have to look sloppy or unkempt while doing so. Today's woman has access to a variety of workout clothing styles, which can boost her self-esteem, help her feel good and keep her comfortable as she burns calories. Think about your specific workout when choosing clothes -- you want to wear something that is as practical as it is stylish.

Tops
-
Keep that old T-shirt in the back of your dresser drawer and find figure-flattering tops to wear when you work out. A baggy T-shirt does nothing for your figure, and it can actually get in your way when you're working out. Instead, choose fitted, ribbed cotton tank tops, which will breathe well as you work up a sweat and keep you cool. If you don't want to show off your arms, then a fitted cotton T-shirt with sleeves, either long or short, can serve the same purpose. Choose a bright, solid color for your workout top.
Bottoms
-
Sweatpants might be OK for lounging around the house, but they aren't exactly the most stylish way to work out. Instead, choose equally comfortable yoga pants. You can find them in cropped or ankle-length varieties. These pants are fitted enough to show off your curves but not so constricting that they'll distract you from your workout. If you're a runner, you might prefer running shorts to keep you cool on long-distance runs. A neutral shade like black or gray is slimming and pairs well with brightly colored tops.

Sports Bra
-
A sports bra is a must for your workout outfit. Not only does it provide you with much-needed support, making your workout more comfortable, it can add a pop of color to your workout attire. Although you probably won't walk around your gym in only a sports bra, if you're wearing a fitted tank, it's likely some of it will show. So a sports bra in a bright color adds a fun "pop" to your workout wardrobe.
Hair Accessories
-
You want to keep your workout look simple -- after all, you're exercising, not participating in a fashion show. However, you can add some practical accessories to complement your outfit. If you want to keep your hair out of your face, invest in a few colorful headbands, which can push your bangs back as you work out. These thin bands are far more fashionable than the 1980s-style sweatbands around the forehead.
