Bissell Little Green Machine has a clear tank on either side. To add solution to the machine, grab the left side tank and lift it straight up. Turn the tank over to expose the black cap on the bottom side. Remove this cap along with the bottle insert. Pour 8 oz. of Bissell Little Green formula into the tank, or up to the "FORMULA" fill line. Pour hot tap water into the tank up to the "WATER" fill line. Replace the bottle insert and cap, and reinstall the tank onto the Bissell Little Green machine.
Basic Operation of the Machine

Remove the vacuum flex hose from the rear of the Bissell Little Green machine, and plug in the machine. Turn the power switch on. Holding the brush 1 inch above the stained area in question, press the spray trigger atop the brush to apply cleaning solution to the area. Use the brush to gently scrub the treated area and to work the solution into the upholstery or carpet fibers. Push down on the brush tool, then pull it back to allow the vacuum to remove the solution and dirt. Use this same action to help dry the area.
