"Cricket Revolution" is a multi-player online game for PC in which players compete in virtual cricket matches. Players can use the default squad provided by the game or create and customize a squad from the ground up.

Customization

You can create your own fantasy team by changing the appearance and name of a player. You can also create a custom team representing a country of your choice if you'd rather not play as one of the default cricket-playing nations.

Skill Points

You may distribute a maximum of 20 skill points to each squad members for a total of 160 across your entire team. Each discipline can have a maximum of 10 skill points. Create well-rounded players by spreading the points evenly among the three disciplines, or create a specialist batsman, bowler or fielder by concentrating points in one or two disciplines.

Batting

Choose your shots wisely. Use defensive shots when the batsman is fresh. Aggressive shots are high-risk but produce good results under the right conditions. Push shots are less risky than aggressive shots and are particularly effective if an opponent's fielder is too deep. Lofted shots are high-risk but effective against close-in field placement. Slog shots are powerful but risky shots best attempted by aggressive batsmen.

Shot Timing and Placement

Controlling the placement of the shot allows you to exploit weaknesses in your opponent's field setup. Defensive batsmen have a greater placement ability than aggressive batsmen. Adjust the timing of your shot to account for the speed at which the bowler delivers the ball. Slow deliveries are indicated by a yellow bowling marker, while fast deliveries are red.

Bowling

Change the pace to keep batsmen from settling into a rhythm and you might trick one into playing the ball too late or too early. Max out your bowler's adrenaline to unleash special deliveries that are hard for the batter to return.

Match Conditions

Choose bowlers and batsmen that are appropriate for the weather and stadium. Fast bowlers are extremely effective on grassy pitches, but much less so on a dry pitch. Balls travel more easily on fast fields than on lush fields. Swing bowlers are more effective in overcast weather conditions, and the ball travels slower and spins less.

Fielding

Experiment with your own fielding strategies by placing fielders in different spots on the field. Take advantage of the fact that your opponent can't see a fielder's special abilities. Once your field is set up, bowl to their strengths.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Be more effective at bat by memorizing the keyboard shortcut keys for each shot. There are more than two dozen keyboard shortcuts to memorize, and the left and right arrow keys will be reversed for left-handed batsmen.
