You can make vanilla or chocolate cupcakes with this particular Spiderman theme. Decorate each cupcake with red icing to serve as the background. Then, place black icing in a plastic bag and cut a very small hole in one corner. Using the bag, make a spider web pattern, similar to the web utilized to represent Spiderman. If you are unsure what the web should look like, reference a Spiderman comic book or movie collateral to get a clear idea.
Spiderman Face Cupcakes

Put a face with your theme by putting a Spiderman face right on your cupcakes. Use vanilla or chocolate cupcakes, depending on your preference. Decorate with a background of white icing -- you can use whipped cream or butter cream icing. Then, place a marzipan in the shape of Spiderman's head on top of the cupcake. Pipe black icing onto the marzipan for eyes.
