Red Gun Training Weapons

Red Gun training weapons are made by Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP). They are bright red training weapons that are also detailed and realistic-looking. These guns are made to be lightweight and easily distinguished as a training weapon. While they are light, red gun weapons can be made to be just as heavy as a loaded version of an actual weapon.

  1. Pistols

    • ASP offers red gun replicas for many pistols commonly used by law enforcement. They have replicas of Beretta, Glock, Heckler and Koch, Smith & Wesson, Sig Sauer, Steyr, Browning, Ruger and Walther handguns. Some of the more commonly known models ASP replicates are the Beretta 96, Glock 9 mm, Heckler and Koch P2000 and Heckler and Koch USP .45-caliber compact.

    Sub-Machine Guns

    • There are four sub-machine gun replicas available as red guns: Heckler and Koch's MP5, Heckler and Koch's MP7, Heckler and Koch's UMP and the Government SMG. The Government SMG is simply the red gun version of a typical submachine gun that would used by soldiers in the United States military.

    Assault Rifles

    • There are five Red Gun versions of various assault rifles: the Steyr Aug, the Heckler and Koch G35, the AK47, the Government M16 and the Government Carbine, which can be purchased with an extended stock, collapsed stock or sliding stock.

    Shotgun

    • ASP only has one red gun training shotgun: the Remington 870.

    Tasers

    • The Taser M26 and Taser X26 are the two Red Gun models available as replicas.

    Accessories

    • There are also nine accessories available. ASP offers two different types of training flashlights and radios. In addition, there is a training knife as well as four different types of training magazines, including the Beretta magazine, the Government magazine, the MP5 magazine and the Heckler and Koch magazine.
