Clean Christmas Gag Gifts
Christmas is a time when you give gifts to your friends and family, so it's a good time to give someone a laugh with a gag gift. Some gag gifts aren't appropriate for people of all ages, but there are choices that are clean and can be enjoyed by everyone. Some gag gifts are very easy to put together and don't take a long time to make.

Old Sock

Take an old sock that has holes in it and place a gift card inside it. The person will open the present and see the tattered sock first, but it may take a minute for him to figure out there is another present inside the sock. Watch him open it so you make sure he finds the hidden present. If you don't have any old, holey socks, then take an older sock that doesn't have a match and cut some holes in it to make it look old and worn.
Christmas Poop

You can play on some Christmas characters and give "poop" as a gift. Fill three jars--one with white marshmallows, white chocolate chips and other white candies; one with green M&Ms, green jelly beans and other green candies; and the last with various red colored candies. On the jar with white candies, place a tag that says "Snowman Poop." The green jar is either Grinch or Elf Poop, the choice is up to you, and the red jar is Reindeer Poop. You can give one person all three jars or split them between three people.

Perfect Man

A funny gag gift for an adult is a Perfect Man gift. It is clean, but some kids may not get the joke associated with it. Give someone a gingerbread man, or several, and attach a note that says something like, "He's quiet, he's sweet, and if he ever gives you trouble, just bite his head off." You can come up with your own version of how to say this and even turn it into a rhyme.
Lump of Coal Soap

Getting a lump of coal in your stocking at Christmas is an idea that has created a popular holiday gag gift. Give someone a bar of soap, disguised as a lump of coal. This is a normal bar of soap, but it has been colored and shaped to look exactly like a lump of coal. Upon further examination, the person will realize the joke and you can share a good laugh.
