Totally '80s Retro Party

In the first "Back to the Future" film, Marty McFly needed to get back to his to his future in 1985. Bring the 1980s back without the DeLorean by encouraging guests to come wearing their favorite '80s fashion fad, such as leg warmers, Members Only jackets and big hair. Get guests dancing to a play list of '80s dance hits, or let them pretend to be fronting Marty McFly's band by playing a few rounds of a music game on a gaming system.
Different Choices, Different Lives Party

The choices Marty McFly makes when he messes around in his teenage parents' lives drastically change his life for the better when he finally makes it back to his future. Ask guests to envision their own alternate lives by encouraging them to dress and act like the person they might have been "if only." Get their creative juices churning by including a couple of suggestions in the invitations, such as asking them to imagine they had pursued a different career, married someone else or had become a total loser. Entice guests to go all out with their costumes by handing out prizes for the best, worst and most creative costumes.

Totally rad Marty McFly has to quickly assimilate when he's transported back in time to the 1950s. Pay homage to Marty's missteps with a party theme that mashes the to decades together. Encourage guests to come in costumes that represent either decade or combines both. For entertainment, create a play list of both '50s and '80s music, then hire a few dancers to teach guests popular dance moves from each decade, including "the stroll" and "the moonwalk."
Sleazy Biff's Gambling Party

In "Back to the Future II," Marty McFly's nemesis, Biff, steals the time machine to give 50 years worth of sports scores to his younger self, ensuring himself a filthy rich future filled with ill-gotten gambling winnings. Take inspiration from the second film's plot to host a faux-sleazy poker or sports betting party. Encourage guests to dress for the event dripping with cheap gold, or suggest they get a little more creative with their outfits, such as dressing at the ghost of the murdered George McFly. Stock the bar with plenty of drinks for guests dressed as Marty's lush of a mother and cigars for all the Biffs to chomp on.
