Mother's Day Tea Games
A tea is a good way to spend Mother's Day and celebrate everything Mom and Grandma bring to your life. Whether it's casual or more formal and fancy, a tea party will be even more fun when complemented with some special games. Enjoy the day spent sipping tea, eating snacks and playing games with Mom.

Talking Game
-
Play a funny talking game to see who will laugh first. One person starts the game by asking the person next to them, "Is Mrs. Mumbles at home?" The catch is that they have to speak without showing their teeth or laughing at all. The person says, "I'm not sure, let me ask my neighbor" and must also speak without showing teeth or giggling. The game continues in this fashion until someone laughs, and that person is out of the game.
Outdoor Games
-
Take your tea party guests outside for some lawn fun. A game of croquet, horseshoes or badminton is perfect for a sunny afternoon. Set up a card table and chairs and offer dominoes and cards, with younger kids playing Go Fish. Kids can also have relay races or play Ring Around the Rosy.

Guess the Tea
-
Open several different flavored or scented tea bags and place the contents on small plates. Have guests take turns smelling the tea leaves to decide what kind of tea each plate holds. If anyone can guess all the tea flavors correctly, she wins a box of tea.
Board Games
-
Set out some old-fashioned board games to play with guests. Have someone call out Bingo and use tea bags for the Bingo markers, or have everyone pair up and play Connect Four, Battleship or Parcheesi. Get a big game of Clue or Monopoly going with everyone. Have separate games for younger guests if needed.
