Compatible Signs With Pisces

Pisces is the 12th sign of the zodiac -- and the last. Symbolized by a pair of intertwined fish, Pisces represents death, rebirth and transformation. Individuals born under this sign are highly sensitive, flexible and adaptable. They can be very altruistic, and it's important to them to make positive changes in the world, so they often work in helping professions. However, not all signs are compatible with Pisces, but some signs are a nice match.

Scorpio

Pisces and Scorpio can make an excellent match -- up to a point. Both water signs, they share a penchant for diving deeper into the important matters of life. Idle chit-chat and superficial pursuits are likely to turn them off. They agree that most things worth doing take time, effort and patience -- all of which they're willing to contribute to a career or relationship. Scorpio has a dark side, though, while Pisces represents the end of life (metaphorically "going towards the light"). For this reason, a long-term relationship between these signs may be difficult.

Cancer

Cancer and Pisces may be one of the best matches in the zodiac. Also a water sign, Cancer shares Pisces creativity, sensitivity and commitment to loved ones. There is likely to be an intuitive understanding between this pair, as if each always knows what the other is thinking. But, Pisces can be distracted at times, and Cancer likes undivided attention. Pisces are forewarned to be sensitive to their Cancer partner's needs; otherwise, sulking and hurt feelings may result.

Aquarius

Although technically an air sign, Aquarius is the water bearer, symbolized by a person spilling water out of a jug. This means the sign shares many characteristics with Pisces, including altruism. These two are likely to want to get together and save the world. Pisces may not share the Aquarius proclivity to have as many friends as possible, preferring solitude instead. Each sign should give the other adequate space to pursue outside interests, whether in a group or privately.

Libra

Finally, Libra (another air sign) may be a good match for Pisces. Libras are the most creative of the air signs, sharing Pisces' love of artistic endeavors. They are also a flexible sign, able to change plans on a moment's notice -- another trait they have in common. This pair may have trouble making decisions, as each likes to consider different perspectives, often for long periods of time.
