Jared Fogle became a spokesman for Subway restaurants after losing 245 lbs. during a Subway diet. His daily meals consisted of a 6-inch turkey sub and a 12-inch vegetarian sub. In addition to the diet, Fogle began and maintained a regular walking routine. In 2000, he appeared in various Subway commercials, sharing his weight-loss story with the world. In 2006, Fogle created The Jared Foundation, which seeks to educate families on the dangers of child obesity.
