Fiesta
-
A fiesta is a Mexican celebration where lots of people come to have a good time together. At these celebrations you will typically see foods like tacos, burritos and salad. These can be made in large quantities easily and served buffet style so everybody can eat as much as they want. Include foods like refried beans, rice, tomatoes, lettuce and cheese. Hard and soft tortillas allow people to choose if they want burritos or hard tacos.
Pub
-
Have your group party at a pub, where you can rent out a room for just your party. When you reserve your room, work with the staff to choose a menu that both fits your budget and will feed your whole group. If you don't want a predecided meal, then you can have a server dedicated to just your party, so you will be sure to get great service and great food as well.

Luau
-
A luau is a Hawaiian party where dancing and eating are two of the main activities. Typically in a luau, a pig is roasted over a spit and then served. This provides lots of food for everyone there. Have other Hawaiian foods like pineapples and fresh tropical fruits. Baked beans will complement the roasted pig, as well as a large salad. This is buffet-style eating, since the pig is just carved and placed on a plate for people to choose how much meat they want.
Park Potluck
-
Choose a large park near you where there is a grill and have a potluck. Each person brings a different dish to contribute to the meal, which saves you the time and money required to feed a large group of people. The grills allow some people to cook meat or to heat up certain foods. When the party is planned by you, it may be up to you to bring the meat, since it can be costly, but other sides and desserts will be brought by the rest of the group. Coordinate it so that you don't get too much of one thing, like chips or cookies, and you have a wide variety of foods. Since it is at a large park, there is plenty of room for people to walk around, play and socialize.
