The Bob Hairstyle
-
A bob consists of a short haircut with the bottom of the hair hitting at the base of the ears. The length is even all around the head. Bobs became popular because women wanted to wear the popular cloche hats and this hairstyle made it simple to pull a hat over and still remain fashionable.
Flapper Dress
-
The flapper dress is a loose and shapeless dress which lengthens a woman's body and creates lean lines. The hemlines on these dresses were at the knee, much higher than in previous decades. Since the dresses themselves were often plain, the look relied heavily on accessories.

Cloche Hat
-
The cloche hat is a beanie of sorts, only more decorative. It is pulled over the head and fits tightly against the skull. These were often pulled down over the forehead and sometimes even affected eyesight if they covered the eyes too much.
Bras
-
Corsets were tossed to the side by most women when basic bras were introduced. Many of these early bras were basic white cotton, which offered little support. However most women simply wanted something to minimize the jiggle. Flat, boyish figures were popular, so large busted women often resorted to taping their breasts down to flatten them.
