Dye Easter Eggs
-
Hard-boil some eggs. Fill mugs halfway with water. Add 1 tsp. of vinegar to each cup, followed by several drops of food coloring. Using a larger spoon, gently put a hard-boiled egg into each of the mugs. Once you are happy with the color, remove each egg and allow it to dry. Use a different food color in each mug. Encourage your family to create as many different colored eggs as they can.
Easter Egg Hunt
-
Hide dyed, hard-boiled eggs throughout your house or garden.. You can also use plastic eggs filled with chocolates, jelly beans or other candy. Give each family member a basket and, starting them all at the same time, have them find as many eggs as they can. You can continue the game even after all the eggs are found by having a different member of the family hide the eggs again.

Bake Bunny Head Rolls
-
Make or buy white bread dough. Allow the dough to thaw if you bought it frozen. Using your hands, form the dough into a round circle about the size of a Satsuma mandarin orange; this will the bunny's head. Next, stretch and pat the dough to create bunny ears, roughly 4 inches by 1 inch in size. Pinch the edge of each of the ears together with the top of the bunny's head. Allow the dough to rise to double its original size, then bake for 15 minutes. Decorate the bunny heads with pink frosting, raisins for eyes and coconut for whiskers.
Construct Bunny Ears
-
Construct bunny ears for the whole family with headbands and sturdy, white construction paper. Cut long, ear-shaped ovals of construction paper. Trim one end of each oval to leave a straight edge. Fold this edge back on itself, leaving a small tab. Decorate the ear as you wish with glitter or colored marking pens. Apply glue to the bottom of each ear's tab and press it onto the headband. Allow the ear to dry. Wear the ears to any Easter parties or Easter egg hunts you and your family attend.
