Color plays a large role in how a person responds and feels when in a particular environment. Color manipulates emotion, relationships and individual well-being. Some colors can cause agitation and restlessness, while others calm and soothe. Soothing colors are great in bedrooms or for calming high stress areas. Color can alter a person's mood and temperament. The shade of a color is also important when looking for a soothing color; generally, cool colors are the most calming.
