Things Found in Women's Purses
For the majority of women, a handbag or purse can be a major part of her identity. Without a purse, a woman might feel lost and like she is lacking a bit of what makes her exactly who she is. Many men might look at a woman carrying an oversized purse and wonder to themselves just what exactly might be in there, other than a wallet. Does this Spark an idea?

Makeup
-
For an evening out on the town or simply just a long day at work, one must-have for a woman's handbag is basic makeup essentials for touch-up applications. These must-haves include powder (in case of sweatiness), concealer (to cover up a zit that could arise), mascara, lip gloss and lipstick.
Mirror
-
Most women's purses also contain small mirrors. Compact mirrors are beneficial for makeup applications when no one is around and a bathroom is not available. They also are extremely handy for making sure nothing is in your teeth after lunch and making sure that your lipstick isn't on them, either.

Comb
-
To take care of flyaway hairs and to simply make your appearance neater, a small comb is convenient to carry in a purse at all times. Throughout the course of the day, particularly in hot or rainy weather, hair can start to look pretty disheveled.
Hand Sanitizer
-
For hygiene purposes, hand sanitizers are crucial for life in the modern world. Whether a woman is riding the subway and holding onto a pole or merely touching a doorknob in her workplace building, hand sanitizer is a good substitute for soap and water when a bathroom is not accessible.
Lotion
-
Lotion is another common component in a woman's handbag. Lotion can be helpful for freshening up (especially if it has a sweet fragrance) and for handling dry skin situations, particularly during the winter months when the knuckles become brittle and flaky.
Fragrance
-
Small bottles of fragrance are usually found in women's purses, as well. For heavier applications, bottles of perfume and cologne are common. Many women also like to keep light and subtle body mists and sprays on hand to stay refreshed throughout the day, as well.
Cell Phone
-
Cell phones are an integral part of most female handbags and purses. Cell phones are vital for so many different reasons, from keeping in contact with friends and family members to being on-call for work situations and handling any emergencies that could come up.
Emergency Cash
-
A wad of emergency cash (preferably wrapped up tightly so that it is hard to access) is another component of many women's purses. It is common to place emergency cash in a coin purse separate to the rest of the wallet, as to avoid the temptation to use the cash in situations that are not emergencies.
Breath Mints
-
Breath mints are compact and convenient alternatives to carrying around a toothbrush and toothpaste (especially if there is no suitable place to brush your teeth). Women often carry breath mints in their purses to keep their breath smelling fresh and clean, especially after eating a meal during the middle of the day.
