As of 2011, the accelerated dial-up service is $14.95 per month. It does not require installation of any specific hardware or software to increase the speed of the connection.

NetZero subscriptions also come with helpful tools such as Norton anti-virus software. Norton software helps protect the computer from harmful viruses and malware that can be installed on your computer when surfing the Internet. NetZero offers the PC Tune Up software program for an additional $4.95 per month. The software helps speed performance, protect personal information, clean up the PC hard drive and fix common PC errors and bugs.
