Unique Gift Ideas for Easter
Easter is a Christian holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It's preceded by Lent, which starts on Ash Wednesday, 40 days prior to Easter. Today, however, there are many mainstream and commercial symbols that are attached to Easter, which is secularly celebrated as the beginnings of the spring season. Gift giving isn't as common as it is during Christmas, but it's still nice to do. Does this Spark an idea?

Personalized Bible
-
Because Easter is traditionally celebrated as a religious holiday, it's a good idea to give a Christian-themed gift. Normal Bibles will suffice, but getting one personalized adds a unique touch. Get a pastel-colored Bible to add an Easter feel to it, rather than the dark, leather-bound traditional style.
Shadowbox Frame
-
Shadowbox frames look similar to standard picture frames, but they contain more depth; allowing room for small objects, as opposed to just pictures. Fill a shadowbox frame with a special cross, rosary or both. Add an Easter-themed poem, story or picture to make it more complete.

Jewelry
-
Charm bracelets, necklaces or lockets can make great Easter gifts. Expensive jewelry such as diamonds or other precious gems aren't typically given at Easter; but simple pearl or silver accessories are appropriate. Make the gift even more unique by getting the gift recipient's name or initials etched into the jewelry.
Food
-
Candy isn't an unusual Easter gift, but there are some sweets that are less common than jelly beans and marshmallows. An Easter bunny log cake, for instance, is both a fitting and uncommon gift. Another idea is to give spring or Easter-themed fudge, shaped like eggs, crosses or bunnies. Conversely, a fruit basket is a tasty gift that's different and healthy.
