Laundry

Adding OxiClean to your laundry routine helps remove stains and keep colors from fading. To get the most out of your OxiClean, always pretreat stains by applying it directly to the stain prior to washing. After saturating the stain with OxiClean, allow it to sit for 10 minutes. Also, if you add a scoop of it to every load of laundry you can prevent fading and wear stains.
Carpet

OxiClean can remove stains from carpets as long as they are not wool. To remove stains on carpet, first blot up as much of the stain as possible. Dissolve the OxiClean powder into warm water per package directions. Apply the solution directly to the stains and allow it to sit for one to five minutes. Blot the solution up and vacuum the carpet once it dries. If the stain remains after blotting up the OxiClean repeat this process until the stain lifts.

Upholstery

You can use OxiClean to clean upholstery as long as it isn't made from wool, silk, leather, suede and other non-washable fabrics. To clean upholstery, first blot up as much of the stain as possible. Mix OxiClean powder into warm water per package directions. After the powder dissolves in the water, apply the solution directly to the stained upholstery. Allow the solution to sit for one to five minutes and blot it up with a white towel. Rinse the upholstery clean or wipe it clean by blotting it with a damp white cloth. Repeat steps if stain is still present, otherwise allow the stain to dry.
Hard Surfaces

Use OxiClean to clean hard surfaces in your kitchen and bathroom. To clean surfaces and remove stains, mix OxiClean powder into a bucket of warm water per package directions. Once the powder dissolves, dip a sponge into the solution and use it to scrub surfaces. Let the solution sit for up to 30 minutes. Wipe or rinse the solution away before it dries.
