Ideas for Girl Pajama Parties

A pajama party can be held in honor of a birthday, or the girls can get together for a pajama party just because they want to have a fun weekend. Pajama Fashion Show

Schedule a pajama fashion show at your party. Guests can wear their most outrageous or fun pajamas. Each girl can walk down a makeshift runaway (you can use a rug for your runway) and take turns posing for each other. If you'd like, you can give prizes for the cutest pajamas, the most fashionable pajamas, and even the most mismatched pajamas. The girls can vote for the winners, and you can give the lucky ladies new fuzzy slippers for prizes.

Pillow Fights

Pillow fights are a popular tradition at pajama parties. When you send out party invitations, ask guests to bring their own pillows. At the party, you can even designate a special pillow fighting ring (or area) that is away from breakable objects.. You can use a stopwatch to time quick pillow-fighting bouts between guests. Just make certain that your guests don't get hit too hard.

Movie Time

Many teen girls enjoy the thrill of watching a horror show at a pajama party.

Let the host pick the movie theme for the night. The girls can watch funny films, horror shows, or even teen romances. Once a theme is selected, rent several movies in that area. Prepare movie snacks such as popcorn, hot dogs, and nachos for the guests. Also have soda drinks available for the girls. They can all cuddle on the couch, eat, and watch the flicks.

Karaoke And Dance Time

If you have a karaoke machine, pull it out for the party. The girls can sing and dance in their pajamas. You can video the dance routines, and after the party you can make copies of the dancing and singing fun for the attendees.

The girls can also take turns making up new dance routines. The girl who makes up the best routine wins a new CD. The other girls all vote and select the winner.
