Glass Display Case Ideas
Glass display cases are decorative boxes that hold items, pictures and written information to be viewed by passers-by. These cases may by used at places of work, in schools and in libraries or other community centers. The nature of your display case depends on the type of establishment where it is used. For example, offices may use display cases for business information; parks may use them to inform other about the natural features of the area. Cases can be decorated with certain themes.

Special Theme Cases
-
Select a special theme for the display case. It may be an event, person, place, thing, animal or anything else you can imagine. You can select special themes that relate directly to your workplace or job. You can also use elements from a theme to decorate the space around other unelated pictures and information. Use die-cut motifs, printed pictures, crafts and other objects that relate to the theme throughout the display case.
Seasonal Cases
-
Decorate the glass display case to match the season. Use leaves for fall, snowflakes for winter, flowers for spring and suns for summer. Use other seasonally appropriate motifs as well. A display case decorated this way can remain unchanged for the duration of the season. You can also incorporate the holidays into the case as well. Use hearts for Valentine's Day, shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day, turkeys for Thanksgiving, pumpkins for Halloween and other motifs to match other holidays.

Personal Highlights
-
Use a glass display case to highlight the lives and achievements of people at your work. You can solicit photographs, facts and souvenirs of their pasts for temporary display. Do this for one or a few people. Change the rotation on a weekly or monthly basis. Doing this will allow the people you work with get to know each other better. Also, because you ask for their contributions, you will not be revealing any personal information they do not want to share.
Participant Contributions
-
Have the people you work with contribute to the display case. You can showcase their writing, photographs, artwork or other crafts. If you wish, you can ask that the contributions follow a specific theme. Alternatively, welcome any work without a determined theme. You can label their contributions with their creator's names. If you are making an artistic display case using the contributions collectively, list the names of the contributors on a single piece of paper shown in one corner.
