Dinosaur-Quest, a 21,000-square-foot exhibit of animated dinosaurs, offers children's birthday party packages for groups of 15 to 20 guests. As of March 2011, package pricing is $250 and includes a 30-minute guided tour from a dinosaur expert, pizza, soft drinks, dinosaur party favor bags, dinosaur trivia game and a scavenger hunt with a prize for each guest. Dinosaur-Quest is located in Rivercenter Mall, which does not offer free parking. Parking is available in nearby public lots and garages and is free at downtown parking meters every day after 6 p.m. and all day on Sunday.

Kiddie Park has been open to the public since 1925 and is the oldest kid's park in the United States. This facility offers three children's birthday party package options. As of March 2011, package pricing ranges from $100 to $225 for a group of 12. Parties are designed for kids ages 3 to 11 and include a vehicle safari, guided walk-a-bout tour with an animal specialist, pizza, drinks, animal feed and two hours of a reserved private party area. Cake and decorations can be brought in. Vehicle safaris are driven by the party chaperones in their personal cars; the ranch does not provide vehicles or transportation through the safari area.

A party package includes two hours in a private party room and full use of the museum and the H-E-B Science Treehouse.
