Prom to Dawn Ideas
Schools and community organizations often sponsor "Prom to Dawn" or after prom activities. These activities are usually designed to provide students with fun, safe and drug- and alcohol-free activities after the prom. When planning post-prom activities, look for venues that are willing to open up after hours for your large group. To make the night special, be sure to include food, prizes and fun activities.

Rock Climbing
-
See if an indoor rock-climbing facility will open up for your group late at night. Serve rock candy and a variety of snack foods. To really make the night memorable, send each student home with a T-shirt that says "We Rock!" and includes the name of the school and the prom year.
Late Night Swim
-
Have a late night pool party. This can be held at the school's pool or an indoor water park. Decorate the pool room with a tropical theme and serve tropical foods, such as Hawaiian pizza or desserts featuring tropical fruits. Send each student home with a tropical-themed favor such as a pair of flip-flops imprinted with the school name and prom year.

Laser Tag
-
What better way to let students unwind from the formality of prom than to let them shoot each other with laser lights? Many laser tag facilities also feature arcades and pizza or snack bars, so students can snack and play video games between laser tag rounds. Offer prizes for the best laser tag scores and send everyone home with a small favor.
Skating
-
Have a party at an ice rink or roller skating rink. Be sure to offer snacks and games for students to enjoy when they aren't skating. Send students home with fun T-shirts related to the event. For example, roller-skating parties can feature T-shirts with a picture of a roller skate and the words "this is how we roll" followed by the school name and prom year.
