Mozzarella Slicer

Mozzarella is a delicious cheese that is used in a lot of Italian dishes. Once trick chefs will use to cut the perfect slice of mozzarella is to use a specialized slicer. A mozzarella slicer can be used to cut perfect, round slices of cheese for your pizza, salad, appetizer or mozzarella stick.
Mandolin

The mandolin is extremely popular in the culinary world because of its ability to quickly cut vegetables into thin slices and can be useful in cooking French cuisine. A mandolin usually has a flat surface with a blade that sticks out of the middle of the board. As you run the vegetable back and forth across the mandolin, thin slices are cut and drop away from the tool. Some mandolins come with a holder that keeps you from cutting your hand on the sharp blade.

A Spanish dish that is so classic it has a pan associated with is is paella. Paella is a dish made up of saffron rice, vegetables, and a meat. A paella pan is round and has a large surface area. Usually there is a handle on both sides of the pan to shake and stir the contents while cooking. Traditional pealla was always cooked outdoors over an open fire.
Panini Grill

Recently, grilled panini has become a popular food in Italy and America. A panini is a sandwich that is made on a roll or small loaf of bread, typically ciabatta bread. To grill the panini, cooks use a panini press. The press works similarly to a George Forman grill by cooking it on both sides. The sandwich is placed on the bottom and the top is closed to press the sandwich down which flattens the sandwich so it fits in your mouth and leaves appetizing grill marks.
