Equipment for Marinating Meat
Beef, chicken and pork constitute part of a healthy diet for many, and there are ways to prepare these that will enhance the natural flavor. Seasoning raw meat with a marinade can infuse it with additional taste, as well as keep it from drying out during cooking. For those that include meat in their diet, marinating equipment can help prepare this with enhanced flavor. Does this Spark an idea?

Marinading Container
-
A marinading container looks much like a standard plastic food container box. However, the features included help a marinade more evenly coat and infuse meat. Most have some form of raised grill on the base and lid, which helps to keep the meat slightly raised from the surface of the container. This allows the marinade to reach the underside of the meat and completely envelope it. The base and lid of marinading containers also lock together to form a tight seal. The container can therefore be flipped over to sit on its lid without having to worry about the marinade leaking out.
Vacuum Marinading Container
-
Seasoning meat in a vacuum container can help speed up the process of marination. The equipment comprises a base and lid, with the meat and marinade placed into this. An attached hand pump removes the air to create a vacuum inside the sealed container. Manufacturers of this type of equipment claim that creating the vacuum opens up the fibers and pores in the meat, and this enables the marinade to more easily penetrate it. This speeds up the process, with marination said to be completed in minutes rather than hours.

Marinating Tumbler Equipment
-
Marinating tumbler equipment typically comprises a drum rotated by a motor. Sealing the meat and marinade inside the rotating drum enables it to be tumbled together, and manufacturers claim this more effectively marinates the meat in a shorter period of time. In some tumbler equipment, an automatic pump creates a vacuum inside the drum, and this relaxes the meat to enhance the marinating process. Home-use tumbler equipment tends to have a smaller drum size, with commercial equipment featuring a larger drum capable of holding a larger quantity of meat.
Marinating Injector Equipment
-
A style of marinading equipment more commonly produced for commercial use is a marinade injector. This type of machinery uses a series of small diameter needles to inject the marinade directly into the meat. This ensures deeper penetration of the marinade, and the equipment can typically vary the depth of penetration to suit different types and cuts of meat. The machinery operates automatically, and can have additional equipment fitted which also tenderizes the meat as it processes it.
