Silk Luxury Scarves
-
Wrapping a luxurious silk scarf around your neck feels pleasant, and as they come in such a variety of colors and patterns, you can buy them to match most outfits. Wear a scarf with one end draped over a shoulder, or tie one in loose knot in front of your neck to keep it in place.
Winter Woolly Scarves
-
Keeping your neck warm in the depths of winter is important. It used to be that people wore woolly scarves wrapped round their necks with the ends hanging loosely at the front. Arab Scarves
-
These have become popular with young people, made in a check style in a variety of colors with tied knot tassels around the edges. Wear this scarf with a triangle of the scarf across the chest tied at the neck or wrapped across the chest with one end thrown across your shoulder.
Pashminas
-
Originally made in the Far East, these scarves have become popular with Western women. Light and soft yet very warm, made from cashmere, sometimes with silk added, these scarves are a luxurious addition to an outfit. Real Pashmina scarves are expensive as they are woven in Nepal and transported to the West, but you can buy less expensive imitations. These scarves are quite large, so you can drape one over the shoulders or wrap it around your neck.
Fake Fur
-
Tending to be a fashion statement more than something to keep you warm, fake fur scarves come in a variety of different styles. There are small ones that clip together across your neck, long ones that just drape down your body either side of your neck or colorful scarves with fur on the edges. Fur scarves enhance your clothes with a luxurious look and add elegance.
