Perennial Purple and White Flowers
Perennials are flowers that come back every year. They grow in many different varieties, sizes, fragrances and colors -- from translucent whites to the deepest of purples, full-sun to full-shade, ground cover to tall plants. Clematis is a fragrant vine with beautiful blooms. Clematis or Clematis crispa is a fragrant climbing vine that beautifully covers fences, trellises and arbors. This perennial flower has unusual blooms available in a variety of colors, including white and purple. Clematis grows well in full sun to part shade and in most of the USDA hardiness zones.
Mountain Bluet

Mountain bluet or Centaurea montana "Amethyst in Snow" is a perennial flower that grows best in zones 3 to 9. This variety of Centaurea has white flowers and a purple center, unlike most Centaurea that have blue flowers. They can grow quite tall and may need to be staked, preferring full-sun to partial shade. You can divide this perennial quite easily in the fall and replant it elsewhere.

Calla lilies are common in floral arrangements. Calla lilies or Zantedeschia are beautiful and elegant perennial flowers that are a favorite in wedding bouquets, cut flowers and floral arrangements. Callas thrive in full-sun and can grow up to 3 feet tall. The largest and most common Calla lilies are white, but other varieties range from yellow to orange to deep purple.

Roses are a common and welcome addition to any perennial garden. With many varieties including bushes and climbing plants, roses are a perennial flower that won't disappoint. Grown best in zones 3 to 10, roses can tolerate full sun to partial shade. Roses are a diverse flower you can use for cut flowers and drying; many varieties are quite fragrant. Roses come in many different sizes and in a range of colors, including white and purple.
