The Best Haitian Charities
It is challenging to choose a charity based in another country. There are charities for women and children, charities to provide medical services, and those set up to offer support and shelter. Donors want to know that the money they donate, whether $1.00 or $1 million, will go to a charity that has a proven track record of using their money in the way in which it is intended, and that the money will go directly to the people who need it, and not to organizational overhead.
