Funny Gift Wrap Ideas
Sometimes the gift wrap is almost as cool as the gift. Give the gift of laughter by wrapping a friend or family member's present with funny gift wrap. Include amusing touches like quotes of the receiver's favorite comedian, or photos that will make him laugh.

Traffic Tickets
-
Friends who always seem to be getting pulled over while driving will chuckle at gifts covered in expired traffic tickets. Collect old ticket notices from friends and family, including envelopes. If you live in a city, you might find traffic ticket envelopes lying around on the street. If they are in good condition, dust them off and use them as gift wrap -- you will also help keep your city cleaner. Alternatively, make your own version of traffic tickets on construction paper or on a computer program. Write funny notes to your friend on the tickets and apply them around the package.
Photos
-
Decorate the gift with funny photos of the recipient. Such photos might feature her in funny baby pictures or amusing mishaps in fashion and style, such as 70s disco outfits, big 80s hair, or 90s dark lipstick. Ask other friends and family members to borrow photos; make copies and return the originals.

Animals
-
If the gift recipient loves animals, decorate the package with funny animal pictures. There are entire sites dedicated to such pictures, with and without captions. Look for pictures of animals doing "human" activities, such as a gerbil singing into a microphone, a bunny at a desk or dogs in goofy sleeping positions. Rhinos sitting on people, monkeys dressed in "Blues Brothers" costumes and closeups of animals making goofy faces are also options.
Funny Sayings
-
Print out a collection of funny quotes and sayings to use as gift wrap. If the gift recipient is a fan of animated shows such as "Futurama" and "Family Guy," look for amusing quotes from those shows. For example, the character of Mr. Burns on "The Simpsons" quips, "What good is money if you can't inspire terror in your fellow man?" Alternatively, use laugh-inspiring quotes from your friend's favorite comedian or public figure.
