Large marshmallows can be cut into smaller pieces to create a sheep's coat for the cookie. Marshmallow's fluffy texture makes it the perfect decoration for the 'wool' on your sheep cookies. You will need some mini marshmallows (the smaller the better), and some plain or butter icing. Place your sheep cookie onto a tray and have the icing in a nearby bowl. Dip each mini marshmallow into the icing and place it on top of the cookie. Repeat this process until the area is filled with mini-marshmallows.

Colored frosting adds a fun and individual look to sheep cookies. Icing provides a simple way to decorate your sheep cookies. To make a quick icing mix 1 cup of powdered sugar with 2 tbsp of milk, and combine the ingredients until they form the icing. You may need to add more milk to get the correct consistency.
