Problems With the Simmons World Class Bed
The Simmons Beautyrest World Class Bed is intended to provide a good night's sleep through its pocketed coil springs, energy foam and Triton foundation with a PowerBeam brace for extra support. Identify the problems you are experiencing with the bed so you can get back to sleeping peacefully. Does this Spark an idea?
-
Frame
-
The frame you are using with the bed may not be specified as suitable for supporting either the bed itself or the weight you are placing on top it during usage, leading to discomfort before or after you rest on it. Replace your frame with a metal one that supports the center, head, foot and sides of the bed firmly. Alternatively, use five hardwood slats, made of either oak or ash wood with widths of one foot and lengths of four feet.
Foundation
-
The bed's foundation may not be properly supporting the frame when you are trying to sleep, leading to the bed sagging downwards or back pain once you wake up. Ensure that you are using a firm, unmoving foundation that is specified to support both the weight of the attached frame, in addition to the weight you place on it during usage. Replace the foundation with an appropriate model, if necessary, and use a Simmons foundation if possible.
-
Fluids
-
Fluids, ranging from spilled water to cleaning solvents, can soak into the mattress of the bed and lead to unpleasant odors and itchiness. Put a quilted protector pad directly on top of the mattress and below the sheets you sleep with to fix this problem. Also, ensure that when you do clean the mattress, you follow the specifications given for cleaning that are provided on the label located in the corner of the mattress.
Transportation
-
When you move the mattress, frame and foundation around, you can bend or otherwise damage these parts if you run into an object or drop the assembly. You can then make a minor problem, such as a slightly bent edge of the frame, into a major one by applying too much weight to the area, and causing the whole frame to break over time. Always carry the mattress assembly around in its included carton to prevent damage during transporation. Alternatively, tie the assembly down with cloth straps and cover it with a blanket before you move it around.
