Romantic Inexpensive Ideas
When you want to be romantic, but don't have much money, reach into your knowledge of your partner to find things that will be meaningful and sweet. By doing thoughtful, simple things, you can show your partner you love her without breaking the bank.

Small Gestures
-
Romance isn't limited to big, grand gestures. Be romantic without spending much money by taking time to do small things that will leave a lasting impression. Put sweet little notes in your partner's lunch or pocket before he leaves the house, or send emails to let him know you're thinking about him. Remember to buy her favorite snack, make her favorite dinner without being asked, or take care of a chore she hates; getting up early to scrape the snow off of her car before she goes to work can be just as welcome as a four-star dinner.
Take Time to Cuddle
-
After you have been together for a while, it's easy to let the joy of simply being together fall by the wayside. Remind him of your connection by taking time to cuddle with him. Turn off your cell phones, ignore your email, and simply hang out together watching a movie or your favorite show. Better yet, take time to talk -- about each other's days, goals for the future and the things you look forward to as a couple. The simple act of sitting together with your bodies touching can be a relaxing, sweet way to show your love for each other.

Remember Conversations
-
It's likely that your partner has given you all of the information you need for a romantic gesture. Listen carefully when she talks to get ideas of things she wants or needs, and show her that you've been paying attention. After a tough week at work, have a drink and a massage waiting at home. Call him to leave a good luck message before an important meeting, or pick up the pair of earrings she was eyeing the last time you went shopping. The gesture itself is less important than the fact that you cared enough to hear him.
Dress Up
-
When you both look good, you'll feel good. For a romantic evening, dress nicely and go on a date. The location doesn't matter much; the fact that you have both made an effort to look your best for each other will make it special. You can go out to dinner at an inexpensive restaurant, go window shopping, or go for a picnic.
