The Perfect Gift for My Husband
The search for the perfect gift can not only take time, but a lot of thought as well. The perfect gift for your husband should be based on his interests and hobbies. Rely on the knowledge you have gained over the time you spent together and find something that matches his interests, which others may not think to buy him.
-
Items For His Office
-
If your husband works in an office, help him claim his office or cubicle space as his own and personalize it. Purchase a set of desk-organizing items, such as a pencil holder, business card holder and other supply holders. Have these personalized with his name on it, or a logo of one of his favorite sports teams. If he has a favorite hobby, such as golf, you might be able to purchase ones with a golf theme, such as a pencil or business card holder that looks like a golf bag.
Tickets
-
Purchase tickets for him for that sporting event or concert that he really wants to attend. Get two tickets so he can invite one of his friends to tag along. He might even ask you to go with him if it's an event you both enjoy.
-
Homemade Gifts
-
Create a book of personalized gift certificates for your husband that he can use throughout the year. Ideas include coupons allowing him to choose the restaurant for the night or the movie that you go see. It can also be for personal services, such as preparing his favorite homemade meal or washing his car for him. If you want to get a little more risque, you could include coupons for romantic activities that he might enjoy.
Travel
-
If he has a favorite vacation spot, or one that he has always wanted to visit, surprise him with tickets to travel to that location and a pre-paid hotel reservation. Some suggestions include Las Vegas, Disney World, the Super Bowl, or a foreign country. You know your husband best, so if you think he would want company, purchase a second ticket for him to choose a guest to go with him. It might be nice, though, for him to escape on his own for a few days to forget about any stress building up at home or work.
