Add on Tools for Oxy Acetylene Cutting
Oxyacetylene cutting torches cut through metal for many reasons and are versatile enough to handle a variety of tasks when fitted with the appropriate tip. These tips allow the use of the oxyacetylene-generated heat to weld, braze, bend and otherwise alter a metal surface. These tips are easy to attach are they can be exchanged to suit the needs of the project. Does this Spark an idea?

Cutting Tips
-
Various cutting tips can be installed on the Oxy Acetylene torch for different projects. Light duty tips are great for thin sheet metal such as auto body panels, medium duty can be used for shearing bolts or cutting off old pad locks while heavy duty tips are used for thicker metal plates in other industries like ship building. These are designed to be interchangeable for a variety of needs to confirm that you are using the right tool for the job.
Welding Tips
-
Welding tips use the power of the oxyacetylene torch for a variety of welding purposes. Using these tips can turn the cutter into a welder to fuse metal surfaces with a permanent bond. You can use many different types of welding tips for various torches. These tips can be for light to heavy duty use as needed. They can heat the metal to the point of melting to be joined together with a filler that bonds the pieces together when it cools.

Brazing Tips
-
Brazing tips are similar to welding tips, but they join the metal pieces together with the use of a different type of flux material that you melt and it flows into the space between the pieces to be joined then cools to form a bond. Since this flux material may not be as strong as the original metal on the joined pieces, brazing does not form a structurally strong bond as structurally strong as the welding process.
Specialty Tips
-
Oxyacetylene cutters can have other specialty tips attached for a variety of purposes. Gouging tips do what their name says: they cut areas of the metal without completely slicing through the material. Rivet cutting tips work for specialty applications when you need heavy-duty rivets. Heating tips on a cutter will heat the metal to the point where you can shape it to suit a specific need without cutting or melting the metal.
