Jewelry craft ideas for teens include flower pony bead pins, constructed using one large safety pin, several medium-size safety pins and lots of pony beads. Teens can use assorted strands of embroidery floss and large beads to create Mother's Day braided necklaces, or reuse items such as old fabric and buttons to make bracelets. Fabric necklaces require only strips of fabric and assorted beads, while button-beaded bracelets require jewelry string and a button collection.

Teenagers will have fun making their own tote and beach bags out of bandanas. Bandana totes do not even require sewing;, rather, teens need only cut and knot the fabric. Teens simply have to lay bandanas on top of one another, wrong sides out, and use fabric sheers to create slits all around the fabric, which they must then knot. Beach bags require the use of a sewing machine, and teens should ask for parental help or supervision if they are unsure how to use one.
