Caterers
-
A delicious caterer that can satisfy a variety of tastes is integral to any successful reception. Caterers in the Pacific Northwest often capitalize in regional fare, from fresh farm fare to a variety of seafood, including regional salmon. Serve local foods to show your guests what the Northwest cuisine of the country has to offer. Herban Feast uses local organic produce and simple fare. However, if you are wanting a more elaborate showing of Northwest food, Ravishing Radish Catering uses local produce but adds artful displays to their settings.
Venues
-
To really show off the city, use venues that are within six miles of downtown Seattle. Capitalize on the downtown core as a site for a reception area as it allows guests to explore the downtown before and after the reception. For a classical building, the Washington Athletic Club adds historic value to your reception, and has been a landmark since 1930. To have a private reception space which overlooks the Chittenden Locks, a main tourist attraction in the city, consider The Canal, which offers gardens and a park that can be used for wedding photos.
