Make or purchase brown plastic hats similar to those Indy wore in the movie. Sew brown vests with pockets for all of your guests and fill the pockets with adventurer equipment. Request your guests to come dressed as different characters from one of the movies and then incorporate each character into your activities.

Create an international menu based on the movies such as dates and hummus, pitas and crudités from the Middle East, samosas and curry from India, and bratwurst and sauerkraut from Germany. Create a eyeball soup out of fish balls which can be purchased at a Chinese market. Make chilled monkey brains out of raspberry sorbet and Jell-O. Serve them in a tall plastic martini glasses. Organize a treasure hunt around the house and at each prize point provide an obstacle course for the guests. Include stations such as an archeological dig for keys, coins or bones in a snake pit, a fill-your-Holy-Grail race, and a toilet paper mummy race. Assign a time to open the gifts. Hide the presents in a large box with a lock which opens with the key found at one of the prize points.

    Party Favors

    • Sew some simple satchels for each guest. Hand them out at the beginning of the party to store prizes from the treasure hunt. Fill a wooden or plastic treasure box with candy, plastic spiders, bugs, snakes, pencils, pads of paper and toy compasses. Use plastic champagne glasses as Holy Grails and fill them with candy, cover with plastic wrap and secure at the top with a rubber snake.
