According to this ancient belief system, there are certain pairings of signs in the Zodiac that are destined to produce a lifetime of romantic bliss, while others make for a deep, lasting friendship. Virgo and Leo

The Leo/Virgo pairing can create a deeply supportive friendship.

The elements combined here, Earth and Fire respectively, can make for an exceptionally strong friendship. Pisces and Pisces

Water signs like Pisces are deeply emotional.

People of the same sun sign generally have a deep and fundamental understanding of each other, because essentially it is like looking in a mirror. This sign in particular is drawn into relationships with other Pisces. Water signs, and thus deeply emotional, Pisces are always seeking for someone with whom they can feel emotionally safe, and who better to do so with than another Pisces? Pisces are eternally romantic, faithful, and selfless, and they need a partner who can respect and admire these traits that they bring to a relationship.

Libra and Aquarius

This pair can have loads of fun, as long as they keep things light.

These two Air signs can really enjoy each others company, and their Air-sign tendency to avoid letting things get too serious will only improve their connection in this case. These are two friends who will love shoe-shopping and gossiping about boys together, keeping things light and fun and airy. Equal so in sexual relationships. Libra and Aquarius would make wonderful "friends with benefits" or a summer fling.
