Fried seafood platters are almost always huge. Good thing they make for great leftovers. Soggy seafood with the breading falling off is no good though—you want it hot and crispy. The trick to reheating fried food the right way is the oven.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place the fried seafood on a broiler pan. Using a broiler pan lets the oil drain away from the food.

Place in the heated oven for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Serve the reheated fried seafood while still hot.

Tip

Adjust the time in the oven depending on the size of your leftovers. If all you have is popcorn shrimp, it'll probably need less than 10 minutes to fully reheat. Reheating shrimp for too long can make it rubbery.

Check to see if the food is done when oil begins to bubble on the surface slightly.
