Wonder Woman Gifts for Kids
Wonder Woman is a superhero adored by several generations of fans -- possibly the best-known female superhero ever. She was created in 1941 for DC Comics and further popularized by the 1970s TV show starring Lynda Carter. In 2011, a second TV show was announced to be in the works. Wonder Woman remains an icon of feminine power to many young girls. You can honor that power with a Wonder Woman-themed birthday or holiday gift.

Books and Comic Collections
-
DC Comics published many omnibus reprint editions of both classic and modern Wonder Woman comics. Some of the older comics may be a little dated for some readers. A better choice might be author Gail Simone's graphic novels. Younger readers might like "I Am Wonder Woman" by Erin K. Stein or a sticker book from DK Publishing. Older girls will appreciate "Wonder Woman: The Complete History" by Les Daniels. You could also get your child a subscription to the monthly comic book series.
Movies
-
Warner Bros. released an animated feature, simply titled "Wonder Woman," in conjunction with DC in 2009, starring Keri Russel as the voice of Wonder Woman. It's a good choice as a stand-alone movie gift. The 1970s TV series is also available on DVD as a set, but once again, young fans might find it a little dated.

Apparel
-
Your daughter might want to dress up as Wonder Woman for more than just Halloween, so investing in a costume set might be worth your while. But she might also enjoy a simple red T-shirt with her favorite superheroine's logo on the front or a vintage-inspired image of the Amazon warrior in action.
Journals and Stationery
-
Chronicle Books offers a line of officially licensed Wonder Woman paper gift products. Your child can keep a diary in one of their journals, send notes to friends on the stationery and cards, and jot down errant thoughts on the notepads. There's even a photo album for favorite snapshots.
