Teachers can download Smart health lessons from the Smart lesson exchange. Lessons are created by teachers and uploaded to the website to be shared among other teachers. Lessons are highly interactive and are used with the Smart whiteboard in the classroom.

Health and Wellness Smart Lesson

This lesson teaches students to set goals for maintaining a healthy lifestyle with diet and exercise. Students (K-12) first assess their own physical and mental health by completing exercises. Next, students set goals for their health and then list the steps to achieving each goal.
Cardiovascular Health Smart Lesson

This lesson is particularly aimed at students in the fourth grade and learn about their own heart rate and what the numbers mean physiologically. Children learn about the benefits of exercise through crosswords, fun quizzes and question-answer. There is also exercise music for students to make up their own exercises.

This Smart lesson for K-9 children presents statistics on childhood obesity in an easy to understand manner. It also teaches children tips and techniques for promoting good health in their own lives. The lesson presents many pictures of foods that are healthy along with tips for living healthy, along with quizzes.
The Fab 5 Smart Lesson

The Fab 5 teaches younger children about the food pyramid and what foods belong at each level. Children learn the names of the key food groups and get to match foods to the correct groups. This simple, straightforward lesson uses many pictures of foods and colorful text.
