For toddlers, the most attractive part of the zoo is the aquarium, which you can access by the zoo tram. The tram can accommodate strollers so you don't have to worry about taking them any other way. For pre-teens and slightly older children, who are typically less interested in the usual zoo animals, you may want to show them the touch tanks containing sharks. The children can actually pet the sharks and get to see more than 600 animals from various regions of the Americas, Africa and Asia.

The farm is a nice place for babies as well, since they get to listen to various sounds and look at different animals and plants.

If you're bringing a baby to the ballpark, you may want to take a baby carrier along instead of the stroller. However the place is more interesting for school age children as they should be able to understand the game. The field has a number of restaurants in the surrounding areas, and street vendors for child friendly foods. For toddlers, there is another play area on the mezzanine level, which contains different rooms for playing. The play area contains toys and climbing equipment.
