Fellowship Activities for Youth Groups
Fellowship is a way for people to get together as one body of Christ, get to know one another, love their neighbors and be hospitable and welcoming to people they meet. Youth groups can participate in fellowship activities that provide a chance to hang out and have fun in a wholesome atmosphere.

Recreation Room
-
Members of a youth group usually get together on a weekly basis in the recreation room at a church or community center, where they can socialize, eat snacks, listen to music and have conversations. Part of the fun of fellowship is spending times playing games, such as pool, ping-pong and board games. A recreation center can also be the departure point for a group going out to do an activity, such as a scavenger hunt, or an excursion to the local movie theater.
Sports
-
Sports are a natural choice for fellowship activity in youth groups, as they foster camaraderie and build character through teamwork and cooperation. They are also enjoyable, which is a major purpose of fellowship. Whether it's meeting regularly at a bowling alley or establishing defined positions on a football team, communal sports go well with fellowship and help bring people together.

Nature
-
Members of a youth group can plan for and organize activities that take place in nature, such as going for a hike in a nearby wilderness area, or a weekend camping trip. As members go for a hike or sit in a vehicle for a long trip to the mountains, they have a chance to talk and get to know one another better. Being out in nature and getting back to basics is a bonding experience that can also help evoke among the members an appreciation for the wonders of creation.
Community Service
-
A youth group can get together for activities that involve community service. This can be something highly organized, such as signing up with Habitat for Humanity to build a home, or participating in a walkathon to raise money for a charitable cause. Members get to spend time together and have an opportunity to make new friends while helping others.
