City parks can be found throughout the area and, depending on the location, offer a variety of amenities such as playgrounds, walking trails, rock climbing, fishing and boating. Parks accommodate a large amount of people and work for children of all ages.

Choose a location that features an outdoor or indoor water park for children. Most water parks allow birthday parties and offer a special area specifically for parties to take place. Discounted group tickets are available for purchase and, depending on which park you choose, some offer food and cake in the ticket price. If food is not included, parks may allow you to bring in your own snacks and cake. Many water parks do not shut down for private parties so book your party with an early start time to avoid massive crowds.
