Avatar games allow children to express their uniqueness and enjoy online gaming all while socializing with others around the globe, and are becoming an increasingly popular pastime for chldren and teens. According to the consultancy K Zero, there were 579 million registered virtual-world accounts in 2009, with sixty percent of these accounts created for users between the ages of 10-15.
