Enna is a city in central Sicily that is located on a high mountaintop. This location, one of the highest elevations on the island of Sicily, afford residents and visitors a grand panoramic view that overlooks the beautiful valleys of Sicily's interior. Scholars are not in agreement about when Enna was founded, but there is general agreement that a settlement existed as early as 1200 B.C. Castles, towers and churches are among the local attractions, and there are several hotels to choose from in Enna, Sicily.

    • The Hotel Garden, which is located in the Enna village of Pergusa, is south of Mount Enna in the midst of gently rolling hills. The natural elements of the area include Lake Pergusa, which is considered the only natural lake in Sicily.
