Dirty Diaper Games for Baby Showers
Baby showers celebrate the joys of parenthood, and the modern variation has been a tradition since World War II. Family and friends gather to socialize, as well as to share parenting tips and stories. "Diaper-themed" party games can entertain both mother-to-be and guests.

Dirty Diaper Game
-
The dirty diaper game involves the guests trying to determine what kind of chocolate candy bar created the soiling in a diaper. The host melts different candy bars (such as peppermint patties and peanut butter cups) and then places each type into a diaper. Guests pass around the "dirty diaper" to sniff and then write down their guesses. The participant who correctly names the most chocolate culprits wins.
Diaper Pin Game
-
To play the diaper pin game, the host folds small diapers out of napkins and randomly pins one to each guest. One diaper contains melted chocolate. Guests are not allowed to look inside their diaper pins until the end of the shower. If someone hears you say "baby," you must give your diaper pin to whoever caught you saying it. The guest who has the "dirty diaper" at the end wins a prize.

Pass the Diaper
-
Put a baby shower spin on the traditional "hot potato" children's game with "pass the diaper." Guests sit in a circle and pass the diaper while music plays. Whoever is caught holding the diaper when the music stops is out, and the last guest remaining wins the game.
Diaper Guessing Game
-
Baby items, such as sealed baby food jars and rattles, are placed inside numbered diapers and passed around the room. Shower guests are only allowed to feel outside the diaper and then must try to guess the contents. After all the guests have written down their guesses, the host opens the diapers to reveal what was inside. The guest with the most correct answers wins the game.
