Signs Your Girlfriend Might Be Cheating
If you suspect there is something not quite right in your relationship with your girlfriend, it is at least plausible that she is cheating on you. Don't accuse and convict her of this just yet, though. Before you jump to any conclusions about this sensitive subject, you should observe the situation and check for some of the common signs of infidelity that women unknowingly display when they are sneaking around behind their boyfriends' backs.

She's Suddenly Detached

If you and your girlfriend were once inseparable, but suddenly she seems distant and detached from you, there could be a problem. If she shared the same circle of friends and associated with your family, but now she doesn't make a habit of associating with any of them and prefers to stick with "her" friends and family exclusively while keeping you at a distance, she could be cheating. Approaching her about the reasons for her sudden change in action is likely a good idea.
Concern With Appearance

When you and your girlfriend first got together, there's a good chance both of you worked a little extra to look good for one another. You were each concerned with your appearance to attract the other. Over time, you became relaxed around one another and got comfortable in your relationship. Appearance may have become a little less important for both of you. If your girlfriend has suddenly become obsessive about her appearance again -- dressing differently, taking extra time to look good when she goes to work or other places without you, or dieting and taking on a new exercise routine -- it's possible she's trying to impress someone else.

She Doesn't Seem Interested

The passing kisses on the cheek will stop. Public displays of affection will be rejected or at least unwelcome and uncomfortable. Your sex life is likely to come to a screeching halt or be completely one-sided, as if she is giving in just to shut you up. Any or all of these are signs that your girlfriend is cheating on you. Many women are unable to give real affection to more than one man, so if she isn't giving you any affection, there is a good chance it is going elsewhere.

If you suspect your girlfriend is cheating and you decide to approach her about her suspicious behavior, she is likely to respond defensively if she is guilty. She could answer you with a question of her own to buy time to collect her thoughts and formulate an acceptable answer. She may avoid the question entirely and question you about your inability to trust. This is a powerful signal of infidelity.
Cell Phone Secrecy

If your girlfriend protects her cell phone like a newborn baby, make a point to pick it up to hand it back to her, and see if it makes her nervous that you even touched it. It's possible she's worried you'll see a secret e-mail, text or missed call from her new interest.
