A number of charitable organizations provide low income families with food, clothing and toys for children during the Christmas season.

  1. Toys for Tots Dallas

    • The Toys for Tots Foundation offices in Dallas/Forth Worth, Texas, provides toys for children from families with low or no income. In order to become eligible for a donation from Toys for Tots, you must present proof of income, such as W-2s, pay stubs or your previous year's income tax return. Toys for Tots requires information about the members of your household, which could include Social Security numbers and birth certificates for the children who live in the home.
