Bridal Shower Games for a Groom's Second Marriage
Bridal shower games serve as icebreakers if not all shower guests know each other and also are a way to pass the time and celebrate the bride-to-be. If a bride's fiancé has already been married once, the games don't vary from regular bridal shower games because the day is all about honoring her. However, you might have to modify some of the games that ask questions about the groom if the first marriage would make the question awkward.

Icebreakers
-
Sometimes not everyone at the shower knows each other. Icebreaker games get guests talking to each other and introduce each guest. One game requires each guest to say her name and something unique about her, go around the room and make each person list everyone that went before her, however if you're inviting the mother of the groom, or his other relatives, and afraid she might mention the groom's first marriage in this game, then chose another game. For example, have guests wear name tags that you've made featuring the name of a wedding-related item. Each guest gets one and is referred to by the name on their tag, like "Cake" or "Flowers."
Printables
-
Printable sheets let everyone get involved in the game and are a good option for guests with limited range of motion or other issues. Each guest receives a printed sheet with instructions to fill it out. Once the sheets are collected, the answers are tabulated to see who got the most correct or read the answers out loud. Printable bridal shower games include: "Know the Bride," a game with questions about the bride for the guests to fill out; bridal shower word scramble; and bridal shower word search. At some bridal showers, guests also play "Know the Groom," but since the groom has been married before, it's best to avoid that game and awkward questions.

Memory Games
-
Make the bridal shower memorable and leave the bride with something personalized to take home. Make scrapbook pages that each guest makes of time spent with the bride, or how the guest met the bride. Bring scrapbook supplies for each person. Another idea is to bring a book for each person to write down advice for the bride. Or have everyone write advice at the same time and collect the sheets in a binder or type the answers out into a document. Stay away from pages about the couple or about the groom to steer clear of awkward moments, in case a guest should mention the first marriage.
Games with Presents
-
Most of the time shower hosts give door prize presents to a few of the guests, even at showers for a bride that's marrying a groom whose been married once. Use the door prize gifts, which can be candles, good smelling bath soaps or something else, in a game. Give every few guests a prize when she walks in the door. Tell the guests that if she crosses her legs, she loses the gift to the person that catches her. Place musical chairs with the presents. Pass the presents along until the music stops. The person holding the present wins.
