Kids Across America (KAA) is a Missouri-based, Christian, non-profit organization geared toward inner-city and urban youth. The organization has established three campgrounds for kids ages 9 through 18. KAA aspires to give kids hope and direction while teaching them about the word of God. Kids can engage in many activities while enjoying an exciting and fun atmosphere at camp.

  1. Kids Across America - Camp 1

    • The first Kids Across America camp, also known as KAA 1, was established in 1991. The camp is for kids ages 9 to 12, and its motto is to create a family atmosphere and show unconditional love. Kids can get involved in activities such as church services, Bible studies and faith-building talks. Campers can enjoy night parties organized just for them. During these parties, the campground is transformed to anything from a jungle or castle to a motor speedway.

Kids Across America - Camp 2

    • The second Kids Across America camps (KAA 2) was build in 1995, and is located directly across from the first camp. The motto of this camp is to live life to the fullest. Kids ages 13 to 15 can visit this camp. Campers choose from 20 different recreational activities and competitive sports including football, dance and basketball. Kids enjoy challenge courses to build their self-esteem, all while listening to Christian music. During the evenings, gospel presentations and various speakers talk about issues important to middle school age kids.

Kids Across America - Camp 3

    • The third Kids Across America camp (KAA 3) was established in 2001, and focuses on kids ages 16 to 18. This camps motto is to create a new beginning. Kids enjoy challenging, adventurous activities such as zip lining, canoeing and mountain biking. There are 20 different sports to choose from including volleyball and basketball. Kids get involved in basic Bible learning sessions and listen to gospel presentations.

    Higher Ground

    • Higher Ground is the 3-year, servant-leadership program organized by Kids Across America in 1998. The program targets kids ages 15 to 18, and aims to teach them principles and leadership skills they can utilize within their communities. During each year of the program, students attend 8 or 16 days of camp, where they enjoy different sports and activities, and can get involved in the Christian ministries provided.
